Poulin, Valérie
Valérie Poulin is a regular professor in the Occupational Therapy Department at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a researcher at the Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en réadaptation et intégration sociale.
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy (Université Laval, 2004) and a Master’s degree in clinical sciences (Université de Sherbrooke, 2007), she has completed a Ph.D. in rehabilitation sciences at McGill University in 2014. During her graduate studies she has received training awards from CIHR (2005-2007) and FRQS (2009-2013).
Her research program focuses on the rehabilitation and social integration of adults and older adults with cognitive disabilities, as well as the implementation of best practices in cognitive rehabilitation following an acquired brain injury. Her research is currently funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (Research support for new academics 2016-2019).
