Recognizing moderate to severe TBI as a chronic condition

Thousands of Canadians will suffer from a moderate or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) during their lifetime. The recognition of TBI as a chronic condition would help improve medical follow-up, understanding of its prevalence and incidence, and the development of surveillance, funding and research programs to improve outcomes.
